#Bajet2013 - Press Release : Prasarana Thank To Our Beloved PM @NajibRazak

We would like to thank YAB Prime Minister Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak for having confidence and trust in Prasarana to undertake this responsibility of managing and operating the public bus services in other cities as announced in his 2013 Budget proposals.  

Indeed, we are proud and honoured to be of service to the people of these cities – Kuantan, Kuching, Ipoh, Seremban and Kota Kinabalu. Immediately, we would be focusing on establishing RapidKuantan.   

We aim to make full use of the expertise, experience and knowledge of our operating arms for bus - RapidKL for Klang Valley and Selangor; and RapidPenang for Penang to ensure the commuters of Kuantan and Pahang enjoy efficient and affordable mode of traveling.

In moving forward, Prasarana would be meeting all relevant parties in the state especially Kuantan Municipal Council and Pahang State Government to expedite the introduction of this new system in the state in line with the deadline being set on December 1.  

We would also be working closely with Land Public Transport Commission being the authority responsible for public transportation matters.
